How I Can Help You...
It’s true. We don’t know what we don’t know.
There are so many decisions to make on behalf of a person living with dementia. Medical decisions require thinking about the person’s past, current situation, and future.
It can get overwhelming if you don’t have a plan for what to do when something changes suddenly.
This is why I developed my Online Program “Make Your Plan with Dr. Lamb.
It gives you one place to go for all things medical decision making.
I’ll teach you how to think through treatment options, the questions you need to ask the care team, and how to organize and keep your person’s decision plan updated.
Using my trainings, you’ll do this at your own pace and will never lose access.
Let's shine a bright light on those blind spots.

Why am I here?
Caregivers and care partners are more than capable of making informed decisions on behalf of their person living with dementia.
I help them make medical decisions they can feel confident and have peace of mind in.
What I do
for my clients...
- Give you access to balanced, trustworthy information. (I am certainly no ethics professor, but I navigate and help people make challenging medical decisions every day in the ER.)
- Help you understand when you may need additional services. (Hospice, palliative care, aging care consultant) or a consult with another medical professional (local geriatrician, neurologist).
- Teach you how the body works, how it fails, and what that can mean for your loved one.
- Respect your time. I’m all about frank, direct conversation. It might put you off by describing my style as “telling it like it is,” but “it is what it is.”
- I can give you a clear idea of what is coming for your person from a medical standpoint.
- Teach you how you can be prepared to act, not react in making decisions.
Full disclosure,
I do not...
- Diagnose you or your loved one with dementia or any other condition.
- Prescribe medications.
- Refer you to specific services in your area (hospice, in-home care companies etc.) If you live near me, I may be able to help with this.
- Tell you in real time what to do if your loved one is sick, injured, etc.
- I am not you or your loved one’s physician. I can not create a treatment plan for either of you.
- Answer specific questions which require knowing your unique/complete medical situation.
- Give you medical advice.
- Fill out paperwork on you or your loved one’s behalf.
- Give you advice during a medical emergency.
- Please review my Disclaimer and Terms and Conditions Policies.
